Wine tasting at Oastbrook Estate Vineyard
Oastbrook Estate Vineyard is in East Sussex right the heart of Rother Valley. The vineyard is owned by America and Nick Brewer who also live on site in rather fitting oast house. America, who trained in viticulture at Plumpton College, is also the winemaker. She produces all the wine herself, but America isn't your normal English winemaker -- most uniquely she's from Brazil.
Some of the unique wines which Oastbrook produce are is their sparkling rosé and then also a lovely pinot gris still wine. Oastbrook is a very small Estate all the grapes grown on site and the winery is also on location. Oastbrook has a beautiful wine tasting room which has been decorated to a high standard. You can also stay at the vineyard in some of their glamping tents or at the famous Hobbit House
