English Wine Tasting Tours are going up, literally with a trendy-hip Shoreditch company called Go Up.  GoUp Ltd booked a corporate day out with English Wine Tastings Tours to experience the pleasures of the countryside, great food, and fine wine.  The corporate day out was a success, even with intermittent torrential downpours of rain, but nothing could stop this tech start-up from having a great day out enjoying a bit English wine.

GoUp is a happening little Shoreditch company with 20-somethings employees can punch above their weight and just wanted to have a fun corporate day out.  The lively banter while travelling from London on the 27-seater coach was sparkling with excitement, so how fitting that the first stop was at Hush Heath Winery.  Guests were able to learn about the English wine-making process and taste the famous Balfour Brut.  But this visit was even more special at Hush Heath as the new release of Skye’s Chardonnay (2014) had been released on the day.  This techie-team was treated to something very special!

After lunch with our friends at The Goudhurst Inn, the tour continued on to Chapel Down Winery where the GoUp team was able to see the modern wine riddling racks in process, turning roughly 500 bottles ever so slowly to make ever so tasty English sparkling wine.  The team really enjoyed the Reserve Brut but also the red wine from Chapel Down and thought the Union Red was smashing!

We are finding that wine tasting tours as corporate events or team building activities are becoming quite popular.  We are booking a wide range of corporate day out tours that can range from start-ups to groups of barristers.  We encourage management to show you appreciation for staff and treat them to an English Wine Tasting Tour!
